The Human Rights Commission- Zambia (HRC-Z) is supporting the formation of human rights clubs in Mumbwa District to raise awareness among learners.

In four schools, human rights clubs were established during an outreach carried out from 15th to 16th October, 2026, reaching over 1,950 learners who are expected to benefit from the initiative.

The schools include Kasalu Primary School, Makasa Day Secondary School, Lusekelo Day Secondary School, and Muchabi Day Secondary School.

The clubs will help learners understand their rights and responsibilities, respect one another, report abuse and violation and promote fairness and peaceful coexistence in their schools and communities.
