The Human Rights Commission wishes to heartily welcome and congratulate Ms, Mbololwa Wamunyima on her appointment as Commission Director-General.

The appointment of Ms.Wamunyima is pursuant to section 11 of the Human Rights Commission Act, No. 4 of 2024.

The appointment was effective from 2nd, January 2025.

Please take note that all correspondence to the Commission should be addressed to the Director-General.

The Commission is indebted to the collaboration and support from all of you during 2024 and looks forward to enhanced collaboration and support in promoting and protecting human rights in 2025.
