The Human Rights Commission Zambia (HRC-Z) on 15th October 2025 held a public lecture at Mulungushi University in Kapiri-Mposhi District of Central Province, where it engaged 80 students from the faculties of development studies, law and agricultural sciences.

The lecture addressed key issues concerning human rights and the enhanced mandate of the Human Rights Commission as provided for under the Human Rights Commission Act, No. 4 of 2024.

The lecture was part of ongoing human rights engagements with higher education institutions in the country in fulfilment of HRC-Z’s enhanced mandate and functions
