On 7th November 2025, the Human Rights Commission of Zambia (HRC-Z) had a meeting with students at Lusaka Business and Technical College where over 150 students were sensitised on their rights and freedoms.

During the sensitisation meeting, students were made aware of HRC-Z’s enhanced mandate, the Bill of Rights, human rights principles and guidelines on how to report human rights violations and abuses.

The meeting at Lusaka Business and Technical College was part of ongoing efforts by HRC-Z to engage students at various institutions of higher learning in order to raise awareness and strengthen collaboration aimed at enhancing human rights education across the country.
